Aly Kaliouby

Also known as Kaliouby — an Egyptian creative based in Cairo.

I graduated in 2017 from the Higher Institute of Applied Arts, specialising in Graphic Design.

My career has mainly been split between graphic design, advertising and music. I’ve worked with FP7 McCann Cairo, Phi, MullenLowe MENA and Synergy, across graphic design, art direction, ATL and BTL — including leading a small creative team.

I’ve been a guitarist since 2010 and a music producer since 2017, working across music production, composition and sound design: scores, jingles, sonic branding and sound effects for advertising, short films, documentaries and a range of clients. I’ve also had the chance to work with Ahmed Tarek Yehia.

Outside design and music, I cook at home and make cooking videos.
